Maria Parham Health to Host American Red Cross Blood Drive

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. On Wednesday, Sept. 30, the community will have an opportunity to help meet that need during an American Red Cross blood drive at Maria Parham Health.

The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Maria Parham Health Auditorium/Classroom, located at 566 Ruin Creek Road in Henderson.

Whether donating blood for the first time or returning as a regular donor, community members can make a lifesaving difference for patients and families who depend on blood donations.

Appointments can be scheduled by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and entering sponsor code MariaParham.

As an added incentive, those who donate blood between Sept. 21 and Oct. 18 may be eligible to receive a $15 e-gift card from the American Red Cross. Eligibility and offer details are available through the Red Cross.
