Maria Parham Franklin to Host "Burgers for Badges" to Honor Local First Responders

Maria Parham Franklin is inviting local law enforcement officers, firefighters, rescue personnel and EMS professionals to enjoy a free lunch as part of “Burgers for Badges,” an appreciation event recognizing the men and women who serve and protect the community every day.
The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. under the awning behind Maria Parham Franklin.
Maria Parham Franklin team members will serve free burgers as a small token of appreciation for the dedication, courage and service of local first responders.
“Burgers for Badges is our way of saying thank you to the men and women who are there for our community when we need them most,” said Bert Beard, Maria Parham CEO. “We are grateful for the countless hours they give, the sacrifices they make and the difference they make every single day. We hope they’ll stop by, grab a burger and know how much they are appreciated.”
The event is open to all local law enforcement, fire and rescue, and EMS personnel.
