Duke Childrens Hospital Toy Drive
HELP US BRING A LITTLE JOY TO A CHILD IN THE HOSPITAL!
A hospital stay can be hard on any child — especially when that stay lasts for weeks or even months. Sometimes, something as simple as a new stuffed animal, a box of crayons or a sticker book can make a long day just a little brighter.
That’s why Maria Parham Health is holding a Toy Drive for Duke Children’s Hospital from September 8–22!
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We’re asking our community to donate just 1–2 basic, NEW toys. Nothing fancy or expensive is needed!
Ideas include:
- Stuffed animals
- Crayons
- Sticker books
- Coloring and activity books
- Other small, age-appropriate toys and activities
WHERE TO DROP OFF:
Collection boxes will be located in the Maria Parham Health lobby from September 8–22.
Drop-off hours: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily.
After the drive is complete, Maria Parham Health will deliver all donated toys to Duke Children’s Hospital.
If you’re able, pick up an extra toy the next time you’re shopping. Ask your church, civic group, workplace, school or family to join in. Even one small gift can make a big difference to a child spending their days in a hospital room.
