November Lunch & Learn to Discuss Respiratory Disorders

Maria Parham Medical Center offers FREE monthly Lunch & Learn Programs on different health and wellness topics. The next program will be held Friday, November 18th.  The topic will be “Respiratory Disorders” and will feature Jonathan Clark, MHA, RRT, Director of Respiratory Care Services at Maria Parham as speaker.  Topics will include some of the most common lung diseases and disorders, like asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and lung cancer.  Also included will be information on smoking cessation.  A complimentary lunch will begin at 11:30 AM in the hospital Classroom, and the presentation will begin at Noon in the hospital Auditorium.  Anyone who has been diagnosed with one of these is welcome to come and bring family members if they’d like.  Also invited are those that just want to learn more about these common respiratory problems.  Please call Lee Anne Peoples at (252) 436-1116 by Thursday, November 17th at 2 PM if you’d like to be included for lunch.
