June Snacks & Facts Focuses on Glaucoma

Maria Parham Medical Center will host a FREE Snacks & Facts program as part of its community outreach into Warren County.  The program will be entitled “A Discussion of Glaucoma” presented by Cynthia Hampton, MD, an ophthalmologist with Four County Eye Associates.  Dr. Hampton will educate the group on different types of glaucoma, some causes, symptoms to look for, and treatment methods that are used.  The event will be held at the Warrenton Rural Volunteer Fire Department on Friday, June 15th from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.  Lunch will begin at 11:30 AM, with the health educational presentation to follow.  There will be a question and answer session afterwards.  There will also be handouts and giveaways.

Although the event & lunch are FREE, please RSVP to Jeannie at 252-436-1401 by Thursday, June 14th at 5:00pm if you would like to attend, so that appropriate lunch arrangements can be made.
