August “Lunch & Learn” educates on Kidney Disease
Maria Parham Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint Hospital, will host a FREE Lunch & Learn program on “Chronic Kidney Disease” on Friday, August 24th. The speaker will be Tariq Abo-Kamil, MD, Nephrologist with Maria Parham Nephrology & Hypertension. Dr. Kamil will explore the symptoms, causes, and treatment methods for this disease.
A complimentary lunch will begin at 11:30 AM in the Hospital Classroom, and the presentation will begin at Noon in the Auditorium. There will be a question and answer session afterwards, along with handouts and giveaways. Although the event and lunch are FREE, please RSVP to Jeannie at 252-436-1401 by Thursday, August 23rd at 4:00pm if you would like to attend, so that appropriate lunch arrangements may be made.
